FinFlows

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how FinFlows handles your data. Your use of the app signifies your understanding and acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information You Provide

FinFlows stores the transactions you enter (amount, date, description, category), any attachments you add to them — receipt photos, voice notes you record, and files you attach from the Files app — and the names of people you record transactions with. If you use the Contacts picker, only the selected name is imported — no other contact data is read or stored.

3. Where Your Data Lives

Your data is stored on your device and, when you are signed in to iCloud, synchronised automatically to the private database of your own iCloud account so your devices stay up to date. That database is yours: it sits under your Apple ID, and its contents are not readable by us. FinFlows has no server of its own and never receives or has access to your data. The one connection the app makes to anything outside Apple is to fetch published currency exchange rates, and only if you record a transaction in a foreign currency. That request asks for exchange rates and nothing else — no amounts, descriptions, names, or identifiers of any kind are sent with it.

4. Permissions We Request

Camera and Photo Library access let you attach receipt photos. Microphone access lets you record a voice note on a transaction; recordings are saved with that transaction and are never uploaded anywhere except your own iCloud account. Contacts access lets you pick a name instead of typing it. Face ID/Touch ID protects the app from unauthorized access. Notifications are used for optional reminders. Each permission is requested only when you use the related feature, and you can revoke any of them in iOS Settings at any time.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

FinFlows Pro subscriptions are sold and processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information — subscription management happens in your Apple ID account settings.

6. Third-Party Sharing

FinFlows does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and does not sell or share your data with any third party. The exchange-rate lookup described above is the app's only third-party request, and it carries none of your data.

7. Children's Privacy

FinFlows is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data remains on your device and in your own iCloud account until you delete it. Deleting a transaction or backup within the app removes it immediately, along with any photos, voice notes, or files attached to it. Uninstalling the app removes all on-device data; any iCloud backups persist until you delete them yourself, from within the app or from iCloud settings.

9. Your Rights

Because your data is stored only on your device and in your own iCloud account, you already have direct access to view, export (via CSV), correct, or delete it at any time — no request to us is needed.

10. International Users

FinFlows has no central server, so your data is never transferred to or processed in a country other than where your device and iCloud account are set. (The exchange-rate request reaches a European provider, but carries no data about you.) Any cross-device sync is handled entirely by Apple's iCloud infrastructure under Apple's own policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting the revised policy.
